A seminar on professional qualification recognition, which was one of the series activities of the communication conference on innovation and cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, was held in Guangzhou on June 30.

Co-organized by the administrative committee of Nansha Development Zone and Jinan University, the seminar was the first of its kind held in the Greater Bay Area on professional qualification recognition.

A total of more than 70 attendees participated in the event, including outstanding experts and scholars in architecture, education, and medicine from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as the relevant persons in charge from government departments and representatives from companies.

Requirements in professional qualification recognition in Hong Kong and Macao were discussed during the event, as well as issues related to establishing a normalized contact mechanism for professional qualification recognition in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

Wu Ziwei, a staff member from the administrative committee of Nansha Development Zone, expressed hopes that more breakthroughs can be achieved in the professional qualification recognition for talents in architecture, education, and medicine among Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, turning Nansha into an ideal place for Hong Kong and Macao talents to find jobs or start businesses.
