Visa centers resuming operation in Guangzhou

eguangzhou.gov.cn | Updated:2020-02-26

Several visa centers of foreign countries in Guangzhou have started operation by Feb 25, including those for major European countries, as well as South Korea and Japan.

Visa centers of countries like Australia, Canada, South Africa, and New Zealand are expected to open on March 2.

However, visa centers of the Netherlands, Japan, and Poland have temporarily suspended applications for tourism visas. Visa centers of the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Czech Republic are still closed.

Special measures have been taken by visa centers that have resumed operation for health security, suggesting that people who have to visit the centers by themselves show cooperation. People have to wear masks when entering the centers and go through a temperature check.

Currently, the center of South Korea has arranged all-round cleaning three times a day and contactless service has been applied when handling and receiving application materials. All materials will be put into boxes after disinfection.
