The fifth Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou (AAG), the largest exhibition for the automobile aftermarket in South China, is being held at Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center from Oct 11 to 13.

Serving as an efficient platform for international technical exchanges and comprehensive business cooperation, this year's AAG has attracted 1,478 companies from 13 countries and regions to participate in it.

Covering a total exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, the exhibition has been divided into three sessions, covering auto parts, car modification and supplies, as well as car repair and maintenance.

More than 30 Italian companies are being showcased during the exhibition, led by Autopromotec and BolognaFiere. Auto maintenance equipment from Italy enjoys global fame for being precise and stable, as well as for having long service life.

Covering an overall area of 1,000 sq m, the exhibition of Italian companies is mainly themed around auto maintenance tools and equipment, spare parts, as well as tire products. Communication between Italian companies and Asian dealers are expected to be organized during the event.

In addition, a delegation of Italian institutions for academic research, including the Politecnico di Torino, has embarked on a visit to Guangzhou to carry out more communication and exchanges with Chinese colleges, companies, and associations to promote Sino-Europe economic exchanges and trade development.

ReMaTec Asia 2019, which is being held for the first time, is happening along with AAG, showcasing the latest products, innovations, and solutions in the remanufacturing industry. Companies from home and abroad, such as GSL Material, IM Group, MRT Engines, Hebei Changli Auto Parts Co Ltd, and Sankaku (Xiamen) Auto Parts Co Ltd, are taking part in the exhibition.

"I hope AAG can present more technological products with internationalization and diversification, bringing new opportunities and injecting new vitality to auto aftermarket development in South China," said Zhao Lizhi, general manager of China National Machinery Industry International Co Ltd.
