The 2019 Canton Fair International Trade Development Forum is set to kick off on Oct 16 in Guangzhou.

The forum, which will be hosted by the China Foreign Trade Center and undertaken by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies of Renmin University, is themed on "Embracing the New Era of Economy and Trade."

Experts from areas such as finance, business, and trade will be invited to participate in seminars and discuss pertinent issues like the current international economic situation, China's trade patterns, and international market development.

The 126th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, will kick off on Oct 15 at Guangzhou's Pazhou Complex. 

The forum, as one of the highlights of the fair, is aimed at focusing on the development of economy and trade, as well as help foreign trade companies to design better future plans.

The forum will have two sessions, namely a roundtable dialogue and a think tank conference.
