Spring Festival lantern show begins at Yuexiu Park

Yuexiu Park in Guangzhou kicked off its lantern show on Jan 25 with two thematic exhibition areas featuring 56 large lantern sets, 30 lighting displays and 15 flower displays.

In addition to the lantern shows, there will be a number of cultural events, including a sculpture exhibition by famous artist Xu Hongfei, a painting exhibition by Hong Zhihuang from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and a photography display featuring photos of previous lantern shows at Yuexiu Park.
