Famous foreign dancers included Craig Smith and Andrea Harvey from the US, who were the first place winners of the 4th Blackpool Dance Festival, the world's most prestigious annual ballroom dance competition. It has been held in the Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, England since 1920.

The fashion art week featured a wide range of performances for adults and children, satisfying the diverse tastes of Nansha people. During one of its main events - the Guangzhou International Model Contest - two models were selected as image ambassadors for Nansha, helping promote the district's tourism industry.
