VoiSingers, a famous youth chorus from Hungary, visited Guangzhou on July 17 and refined their singing skills with local choirs.

At Yuexiu Youth Palace, VoiSingers conducted in-depth exchanges with the Little Skylark Children's Choir through activities and a joint rehearsal of a classic song. The Hungarian chorus also paid a visit to Guangdong Guangya High School and interacted with the school's choir.

VoiSingers is committed to the integration of pop music with traditional choral works. By remixing, each popular song is presented to the audience in a novel way that is accepted by more young people and helps spread Hungarian music to the world.

The Hungarian chorus members taught their Guangzhou peers how to integrate pop music with choral pieces.

Balasy Szabolcs, conductor of VoiSingers, said that he felt the vitality of Guangzhou's culture through the shared activities.

VoiSingers has given more than 198 performances in Europe. The group has worked with Punnany Massif, one of Hungary's most famous pop music producers, and is a well-acclaimed choir in its home country.

After Guangzhou, the chorus will move on to Beijing on July 18 for a performance at the opening ceremony at the 14th China International Chorus Festival.
