Nissan began offering global passengers advanced vehicle control and safety technologies with cutting-edge artificial intelligence in a "Space-Time Tunnel" at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport from April 10.

Liu Zongxin, general-manager of the Sales and Marketing Department of Dongfeng Nissan, a Sino-Japanese joint venture, and Chen Changsheng, director of Guangzhou Baiyun International Advertising Co, took part in the opening ceremony for the Nissan Intelligent Mobility Flagship Experience Pavilion which is settling down in the airport.

The experience pavilion, the first large-scale artistic display of its kind in China's airports, is more than 200 meters in length, and covers an area of more than 2,500 square meters.

Passengers show great curiosity as many "astronauts" appear in the "Space-Time Tunnel". The tunnel, first opened to the public on Oct 21, 2016, connects the airport terminal to the nearest subway and features special effects with cutting-edge technologies.

During the two-month exhibition, people can get access to Dongfeng Nissan's latest products in addition to the exceptional IDS Concept, an example of the company's vision of "Zero emissions, Zero fatalities" which is expected to enhance the relationship between car and driver.

Visitors can also try out the cutting-edge automotive driving system and gain a better understanding of Nissan Intelligent Mobility by wearing a virtual reality headset at the Nissan pavilion.
